Program Details
This month participants will hear from the Howard County Office of Emergency Management(OEM), who will explore how the County develops and maintains emergency management plans; how their office prepares for natural, technological, and/or human-caused emergencies; and how the County's response and recovery to emergencies and disasters is managed through our Emergency Operations Center.
Light refreshments will be provided.
About the Community Ambassador Program
Howard County's Community Ambassador Program is a volunteer initiative aimed at equipping county residents with the tools, training, and knowledge they need to help their neighbors access vital County Government services. Since its launch in 2023, Community Ambassadors have supported and empowered hundreds of residents regarding quality-of-life issues across Howard County.
