Howard County Department of Public Works to Host Public Meeting for the Woodland Road Stream Restoration Project
Howard County Department of Public Works’ Stormwater Management Division will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, May 3rd to present plans for a stream restoration project that will include stabilizing a section of a stream near the 4000 block of Woodland Road in Ellicott City, using wood and rock structures. The project is estimated to begin in the summer of 2023 and weather permitting, is expected to take five months to complete.

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball has announced the first round of Youth Engagement Programming (YEP!) grant recipients. Thirteen local organizations have received grants ranging from $11,000 to $99,000 that will help promote youth activities and engagement in Howard County through free, accessible and supportive programming developed by nonprofit and community organizations.
