The FILM Task Force has been charged with positioning Howard County as a leading, film-ready jurisdiction not just in Maryland, but across the Mid-Atlantic region.

The County's Department of Public Works’ (Bureau of Highways’ Traffic Engineering Division will hold a community outreach open house on Thursday, February 26th, to present traffic calming plans for Old Washington Road in Elkridge, including the installation of speed humps, speed hump signs, overhead flashing beacon, and speed reduction markings along the roadway. 

For possibly the first time in the nation’s history, all 10 Black Greek Letter organizations, including Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Inc. will be housed under one roof.
